Position Summary

The Procurement Officer - Raw Materials is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of non-leather raw materials such as textiles, synthetics, hardware, and trims. This role ensures timely procurement aligned with production schedules, cost targets, and quality standards. This role also oversees logistics coordination, supports procurement forecasting, and resolves material quality issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure non-leather raw materials in line with production and development requirements.Evaluate and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, compliance, and reliability.Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.Coordinate inbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate material deliveries.Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and avoid shortages or overstocking.Collaborate with Quality and Technical teams to resolve any material-related issues.

To be successful in this role, you will have :

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within apparel, footwear, or manufacturing industries (desirable).Solid understanding of procurement principles, contract management, and sourcing strategies.Experience in logistics coordination and supplier performance management.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor) and procurement planning tools.Awareness of market trends and sustainable sourcing practices.Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
