- Job Purpose
To ensure Imagine Cruising Flights department is supporting Australia Sales, Product & Customer Service. Ensure IC Flights are adhering to correct booking process of flights together with 100% accuracy on fare quotations. Ensure IC Flights are 100% accurate when issuing tickets and at no risk of receiving an ADM. Maximise flight opportunities and ensure that the Product to team receive the best deal to suit their requirements. Work effectively towards business KPI's and personal targets.
- Typical activities
- Ensure that Product team are provided with the best competitive flight costs.
- Ensure that all relevant fare types e.g. ITX, Cruise and Net fares and special offers are loaded in Australia's GDS.
- Negotiate group rates / tactical cruise fares in all booking classes exclusively to Imagine Cruising.
- Manage all Imagine groups ensuring that all deposit, final balances are paid within the required deadline. Cancel any unwanted seats and rebook where applicable. Ensure that group booking "options" are extended when required and process amendments / upgrades adhering to the airlines contract terms and conditions. Ensure that all group names are input accurately and ticketed within the applicable deadline.
- Negotiate marketing funds & Staff incentives & kick back from the airlines.
- Manage the Aviation team ensuring that all team KPI targets are achieved.
- Manage OSR bookings and ensure that flights are booked at the best available cost within the applicable booking window.
- Work closely with the upsell team to maximise upgrade opportunities.
- Provide sales guidance on airlines and routes to optimise sales.
- Regular meetings with the Australia Product team to discuss new products & special offers, working together to create new packages and ensure that the flights work in-sync with the Cruise & Tours.
- Support the Product team by Sourcing flights for live and OSR packages.
- Planning for major incidents such as airline strikes and closure of a major airport and Ash clouds
- Booking, confirming, and issuing tickets for any Galileo bookings on a daily basis.
- Ensure the packages on the SkyDrive are up to date with best available flight prices so that Sales team can process bookings with price accuracy.

- Good knowledge of airlines & various GDS.
- Strong knowledge of fare constructions

- Some knowledge of Microsoft office
