Survey Drafter

Intrax Land  is a surveying, geotechnical and civil practice that specialises in top tier projects across Australia. The Survey Department offers a full suite of professional surveying services to the construction industry, land development industry, and the housing industry. We are seeking a permanent full-time Survey Drafter, who will be based in our Upper Mt. Gravatt office.

Your role will involve :

As a Surveying Drafter, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality survey plans and drawings across a range of residential, land, and construction projects. Working closely with our field surveyors and project managers, your attention to detail and ability to interpret survey data will directly contribute to successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Draft survey plans from field-collected data, including boundary, topographic, detail, and subdivision plans
• Interpret site data, title information, and builders designs
• Liaise with surveyors to ensure accuracy and clarity of drawings
• Prepare documentation for lodgement with relevant councils and authorities (e.g., ADAC, plan of survey)
• Maintain quality standards and project deadlines
• Support process improvement and assist in refining drafting workflows

To be successful in this role you will have :

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting
• Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, or similar
• Tertiary qualifcation (or equivalent) in surveying, drafting, engineering, or architecture
• Excellent time management and high attention to detail
• Ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic work environment

The expected salary for this position is $66,000 - $78,000 + superannuation.
