This role's key focus will be receiving and issuing medical and non-medical consumables and other items as required.
This will involve, but is not limited to :
General housekeeping of the stock storage areas.Distributing goods as directed using our SAP computer system.Loading, picking and delivering stock both at the Supply department and around the hospital.Issuing materials from store; preparing items / goods for departmentsEnsuring all operational procedures are adhered to and documentation completed correctly.Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a strong work ethic, communication skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks to achieve deadlines.
You will also demonstrate :
Experience working in a service-focused busy supply environment.Experience reading picking documents and picking stock accurately.Experience in minimum / maximum stock control principles.Ability to use and operate stores equipment, motorised pallet trucks.Proven skill in working in a highly organised and systematic manner.Excellent administration and organisation skills.Attention to detail and ability to observe and prevent operational issues.Proven ability to providing an efficient, helpful and friendly service to customers.Ability to use initiative, self-motivation, work as a team member with minimal supervision.Respect for others and the rules of our working environment.What's in it for you?
