WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR The Liquor Co.1977 is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager for afull-time, permanent position.

Our ideal candidate will have flexibleavailability (Monday to Sunday) and be comfortable commuting within the GreaterVictoria Area.

Applicants must be 19+ years of age.

We are a people first business, with a strong focus on ourcustomer and member needs.

We are looking for a like-minded individual to joinour dedicated team.

We want someone who :

Has strong knowledge and experience working inthe liquor business, a spirits' connoisseur (Oh là là)
Brings a minimum of two years of managementexperience in a related field (this is a must!)
Demonstrates ability to mentor, train, anddevelop motivated a team of at least 10 people.
Has the ability to analyze market data andfinancial information to identify trends, grow our business, and enhancemerchandising strategies
Can effectively use computerized systems andapplicable software.
Has strong computer skills, Excel, Word, andother related sales tracking software required.
Is an excellent communicator with great verbaland written communication skills.

Monitorcategory sales performance and develop strategies for improvement

Values safety, integrity, and teamwork, and is arole model for both colleagues and customers.

Isphysically capable of standing for extended periods and handling products up to50 lbs, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Has accessto a personalvehicle for travel between locations (highlydesirable)

Must be able to provide asatisfactory criminal record check (required)

Holds a valid Serving It Right certificate (must-have before your first shift) WHATYOU'LL BE DOING As a Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of theoperation of the liquor store, maintaining Peninsula Co-op's high standards forcustomer service, developing and achieving operating plans and budgets,designing and executing merchandising and marketing programs, taking care ofpeople, including hiring and performance development, and working cooperativelywith other departments, suppliers, etc.

WHAT WE OFFER In addition to an annual salary of $57,000 - $70,000 (experience-based),Peninsula Co-op provides a competitive total compensation package thatincludes :
