We areseeking motivated and enthusiastic staff who have a special interest in Adolescent Medical Specialities and Eating Disorders to join our dynamic team. You will be a pivotal part of the multidisciplinary team in providing evidence-based care to adolescent patients. Ward 4A is the only specialised Adolescent Medical Ward in Western Australia and designed to provide comprehensive medical, psychological, and social care for adolescents (typically aged 12-16) who require hospitalisation. As part of the multidisciplinary team, we focus on addressing complex health concerns including chronic medical conditions, eating disorders, mental health concerns, and acute medical conditions that require age-appropriate care. The Registered Nurse is responsible for In collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager / Clinical Nurse Specialist and the Clinical Nurse, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of a high standard of nursing care on a shift by shift basis to patients and their families using the Scope of Nursing Practice Decision Making Framework. The Registered Nurse acts as a role model and undertakes a teaching role in nursing practice for more junior staff.
