About the Role We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Deputy Director of Nursing (DDON) to support our Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team.
In this role, you will :
Work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee the daily clinical operations of the home. Lead the development and implementation of procedures to ensure residents' clinical and care needs are consistently met. Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to Registered Nurses and care staff. Foster strong communication and build trusting relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Support a culture of continuous improvement and maintain a safe, high-quality care environment. What you'll bring Tertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher) in Nursing with current AHPRA registration. Minimum five years of nursing experience in the aged care sector, including at least two years in a management or leadership role. NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain). Full working rights in Australia. Strong leadership, team management, and clinical supervision skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
