About the PositionWe are seeking a dynamic and professional Economic Development Officer to join our Economic Development team on a maximum term contract to cover parental leave. Reporting to the Senior Economic Development Officer, you will play a key role in driving sustainable economic development and tourism initiatives within the City.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Economic Development Officer, you will :
Planning and ImplementationAssist in planning and implementing economic development and tourism projects.Stakeholder LiaisonLiaise with government and business stakeholders.Marketing and PromotionMarket the City as a prime business location.Resource AttractionAttract external resources and funding.Customer ServiceProvide high-level customer service to stakeholders.About YouTertiary qualification in Business, Business Development, Tourism, Marketing or equivalent, or experience in a similar role.Experience in project management and coordination of economic development or tourism projects.Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.For further information, please refer to the position description.
