Length of contract : 12 months

Contract extensions : Security clearance : Australian Citizen (client intend to process Baseline security clearance after onboarding)

Requirements : Overview : Application Architects design, implement and evolve the application environment in the organisation. They pay close attention to how applications interact with each other to form a service and aim to improve the way application support the business.

Key duties and responsibilities : As a Digital Application Tech Lead, you will be accountable for :

Playing an instrument role in designing and developing complex, responsive web applications on Outsystems.Provide detailed design, proof of concept of common components, workflows and functionalities such as role-based access control, transaction lifecycle management etc.Provide systems analysis, technical recommendations, and inputs to business requirements, solution and UX designs for OutSystems applications.Lead other technical specialists to develop, test and deploy Outsystems applications.Provide technical direction and development support, including code reviews, troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving.Ensure that the solutions and services delivered are aligned with project outcomes and architectural designs and patterns.Ensure that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to.Create and maintain technical documentation, development best practices and guidelines.Provide advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to ASIC support staff as required.Qualifications and experience : 3+ years of commercial experience in developing and deploying applications using low-code OutSystems platform.Strong understanding of the OutSystems platform and architecture, including Service Studio and LifeTime.Proven experience in leading technical teams for project delivery.Understanding of human-centered design principles and experience applying them in web development.Experience contributing to or establishing technical governance frameworks, including coding standards, design review processes, and branching / marching strategies for low-code applications.Experience working in Agile, DevOps and cross-functional teams.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Your strategic IT resourcing partner

Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or other relevant degree is desirable.Capabilities : Analytical skills - The demonstrated ability to think critically when extracting and interpreting information mine and analyse data to connect patterns and identify trends and risks; think laterally about issues.Learning agility - The demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and effectively to new requirements and situations, showing initiative to take action to remain abreast of new trends and developments.Stakeholder engagement and communication - Build, maintain and utilise networks and relationships within ASIC and across domestic and international stakeholders and regulatory bodies. An ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.Technological adeptness - The demonstrated ability to apply different technologies to gather information and process evidence efficiently and effectively; understand the communication and technological systems.About the team : Information Technology Services provides a wide range of IT facilities and support services to ASIC. We are embarking on major technology projects that will transform our business and continue our significant technology transformation in a number of areas such as application modernisation, data analytics, mobility and cloud. The Digital Applications team is responsible for delivering and supporting portals, integrations, custom applications and digital solutions. make use of the latest technology, focusing on developing digital services that will provide the best user experience for our stakeholder groups, with the aim of making ASIC a 'best in class' regulator supporting the Australian financial markets. OutSystems is the chosen product used to build ASIC's strategic Digital Service Platform (DSP). The DSP is a key technology enabler to support ASIC's ambition to become a leading digital regulator with capabilities to uplift existing and new online services and UX (user experience). ASIC has an ongoing and significant portfolio of projects on DSP comprising digital initiatives, legislative changes, and business improvements.
