About QLeave

QLeave is a statutory authority established to administer a portable long service leave scheme for eligible workers in the building and construction, contract cleaning and community service industries.

QLeave operates with Board governance who provide the financial skills necessary to ensure the longevity of the schemes and includes employer and employee representatives. QLeave is governed by three Acts and is responsible for over $1.5bn of funds under investment.

QLeave is committed to maintaining sound governance arrangements for accountability, managing risk, culture, and compliance. This enables the agency to prepare and respond to future scheme demands.

About the Role

The role will assist the broader Governance, Risk and Planning team by conducting disposals of records utilising Content Manager and ensuring compliance is met with QLeave's Records Management Policy and Procedure, as well as the Public Records Act 2023.

Your Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will
  • conduct disposal of records using Content Manager to ensure compliance with QLeave's Records Management Policy and Procedure, the Public Records Act 2023, and relevant recordkeeping policies and standards issued by Queensland State Archives.
  • troubleshoot and resolve record data issues encountered during the disposal process.
  • identify trends and common problem areas that need to be addressed by proactively monitoring and reporting on the progress of records disposal.
  • develop and maintain written procedures and processes.
  • contribute to the development and commitment to ethical behaviour and QLeave's corporate values

This position reports to the Team Leader, Records Management, via the Records Management Coordinator.

What Are We Looking For?

  • experience in using HPE Content Manager or EDRMS and a range of systems, software and tools.
  • knowledge and experience in information and records management, in particular, retention and disposal of government records.
  • strong attention to detail and adherence to a project implementation plan, policies and procedures to deliver quality outcomes.
  • plan and organise work priorities, meet deadlines and work collaboratively to achieve project and organisational goals.
  • well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
  • ability to identify opportunities for improvement and resolve problems using innovative approaches
  • There are no mandatory qualifications for this role.
