Principal (Marine) Geologist / Geoscientist

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Principal (Marine) Geologist / Geoscientist, who enjoys analysing data, solving problems and helping our customers make safer, more sustainable and informed decisions.

This role is responsible for analyzing and interpreting high-quality offshore geo-data to provide accurate and customized advice to clients on their individual project needs. Your day-to-day duties and focus will include :

• Lead technical teams related to geology or engineering geology in projects, delegate tasks, guide team members, and review calculations and reports for accuracy;
• Take on the role of Project Manager for Marine Consulting Projects;
• Prepare and review technical reports and proposals in a timely, organized and accurate manner;
• Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and the client, handling communications on technical matters;
• Help develop project opportunities and identify markets;
• Write and publish papers, participate in technical development in designated areas and competencies;
