Rate : £34.00 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team in Glenfield, Leicester . Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify risks and formulate safeguarding plans.
  • Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to protect vulnerable service users.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to children, families, and adults as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies including health services, police, and educational institutions to coordinate care and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate, clear, and timely case records and reports.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual and family needs.
  • Attend multi-agency meetings such as case conferences and strategy discussions.
  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience in safeguarding, child protection, or adult protection roles.
  • Solid understanding of legislative frameworks including the Children Act , Care Act , and associated statutory guidance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Proficient in IT systems and case management tools.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
