(pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

The School of Engineering at The University of Western Australia (UWA) is a multidisciplinary school that delivers world-class education and research across various engineering disciplines, including biomedical, civil, environmental, mining, chemical, mechanical, electrical and electronic, and automation and robotics.

About The Opportunity

Deliver high-quality teaching across core first- and second-year engineering subjects while fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.Develop innovative teaching strategies, assess student progress, supervise projects, and contribute to curriculum and assessment design.Participate in school governance, support diversity and inclusion, and contribute to university activities and professional communities.

About You

PhD in Engineering or closely related field.Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching across a diverse range of fundamental engineering topics at the tertiary level.Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, student-centred teaching and learning.Experience with modern pedagogical approaches, including blended learning, active learning, and the use of digital technologies in education.Demonstrable experience of participation at an appropriate level in education / research leadership in public engagements that promote research and / or education outcome, government and industry.Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles
