KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
To process payroll for multiple clients, on various accounting softwareBookkeeping will be required for some of the clients as wellAbility to expand the work to more bookkeeping - training is available if requiredAnswering the phone and attending to queries as neededReconciliation of clearing accounts - payroll specificMaintain a client workflow Masterfile and ensure all client work for the office is scheduled and completedSome PA work will be requiredAdhoc duties as requiredSKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Required QualificationsCertificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting or above.Required ExperienceAt least 4 years' experience in a similar role - with payroll being a primary part. All aspects of Accounts Experience are required.Experience with Xero Software - excellent understandingExperience with QBO Software - excellent understandingExperience with MYOB Software - excellent understandingExperience with Reckon Accounts - some understandingExperience with Receipt Bank (Dext) software preferred but not requiredExperience with multi-currency highly preferredEye for detail and exceptional communications skillsSkills with Excel and WordAbility to work autonomouslySound understanding of Chart of Accounts and the allocation of transactions to correct accountsAbility to be co-operative and follow direction from management, be a team player and have a can-do attitudePerformance GoalsTo accurately process all client payrolls in a timely manner.Time allocation will be given with each client.
If bookkeeping as well - to show consistency in account allocation and tax code allocation. Errors must be mínimal and not repeatedMaintain accurate and correct reconciliation of all accounts that are required to be reconciled - specifically payroll accountsReconcile superannuation, PAYG, payroll clearing and any other payroll accountsMaintain the client workflow and ensure all work is completed by allocated staffGrowth OpportunitiesOpportunity to move more into bookkeeping for clientsOpportunity to become the office managerProfit Share Bonuses are paid 6 monthly depending on work productivity and cashflowJob TypesPart-time, CasualSalaryFrom $55,000.00 per yearBenefitsProfessional development assistanceSchedule :
