About the Role : We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Orthoptist to join multiple well-established healthcare facilities located around Sydney.

As a Locum Orthoptist, you will work alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals, providing high-quality care for patients with various eye conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Orthoptist looking to contribute their expertise in a dynamic clinical environment.Key Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive orthoptic assessments and investigations, diagnosing and managing visual disorders such as strabismus, amblyopia, and other ocular motility issues.Provide patient education and offer management advice on exercises, therapies, and lifestyle changes to improve visual health.Work with ophthalmologists and other medical staff to create tailored treatment plans.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.Ensure the delivery of high-quality care in accordance with best practice guidelines and professional standards.Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.Requirements : Proven experience in orthoptic assessments and management of visual disorders.Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient care and empathy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work within the demands of the locum role.Previous locum experience is desirable, though not essential.Benefits : Competitive hourly rates.Flexible working hours to suit your schedule.Opportunity to gain experience in diverse healthcare settings.How to Apply : If you are a qualified and passionate Orthoptist looking for a locum opportunity, we would love to hear from you!
