Relevant trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter / Pipe Fitter or a Poly Welding Ticket within 2 years of conclusion date.
- Essential tickets
- Current Auto or Manual WA HR Class Drivers Licence
- White / Blue Card Construction
- Current High Risk Work Licence - Dogging (DG)
- Current High Risk Work Licence - Crane Ticket (C6)
- Valid Load restraint training (Secure Cargo & Load And Unload Goods / Cargo)
- Valid Operating Tickets - Excavator (LE)
- Valid Operating Tickets -IT Loader,
- Current and valid Telehandler Tickets
- Chain of Responsibility - Drivers Training
- Wellmaster Training [MV2]
- Essential Experience
- High-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polyethylene high-density (PEHD) experienced (plasson, butt welding)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in open mine pit dewatering roles
- Key Responsibilities
- Work in a high-pressure environment to install UON supplied equipment (water pumps both submersible and skid, generators, dewatering trailers, HDPE pipelines and associated valving etc.)
- Install, operate and maintain all Company owned and hired plant equipment to Company and client expectations of cleanliness, preparedness and operated as per manufacturers guidelines.
- Completion of all mandatory installation and testing documentation is completed to Company expectations.
- Operate and maintain the Company crane trucks, rigging gear and equipment to Company, Client and manufacturers requirements and ensuring Company and client expectations of cleanliness and preparedness are met.
- Inspect the Company Crane trucks, rigging gear and equipment on daily basis using the UON standard checklists, reporting any incidents, issues and / or maintenance requirements to supervision / management.
- Maintain an accurate time-keeping record relating to work tasks.
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace (HSE compliant)
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to HR, QA, SHE and other relevant systems.
- Active involvement / participation on the company's continuous improvement programs
- Perform any additional tasks as required from time to time
