The Opportunity
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for multiple positions for Assistant in Nursing (AINs) to join our team for a new Transitional Care Unit (TCU) at Glengarry Private Hospital. The TCU will provide short term care to optimise the functioning and independence of the older person who requires more time and support to make decisions on their long-term care options.
You will work as a valued member of our team in our 21 bedded unit and support the nurse and allied health teams in providing vital support to patients within the unit. Your role will include assisting with meals activities of daily living position and mobility personal hygiene vital sign monitoring documentation and environmental maintenance under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. You will be supported to work to your full Scope of Practice as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN). Training will be provided.
The successful candidates will be available to work a rotating roster of morning and afternoons including weekends.
