The Role

• Duties include but not limited to;
• Prepare and update electrical drawings such as single-line, schematics, terminations, and cable schedules for mining and industrial infrastructure.
• Interpret and convert engineer markups into accurate, constructible documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawings reflect current conditions and design intent.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Participate in site visits to capture redlines, verify layouts and support as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with multidiscipline engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into plant design.
• Assist in developing and improving drafting standards and CAD templates.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Senior Electrical Engineer.

About you

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Drafting, Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum 2-4 years of electrical drafting experience within mining, mineral processing, or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Familiarity with project lifecycle documentation and version control processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, quality documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and communicate effectively with engineers and site teams.
• Excellent communication skills when working with cross-function teams.
• High level of attention to detail and documentation writing
