APS6 Senior Interaction Designer User Researcher

Essential criteria

1. Demonstrated experience and understanding of UX research methodologies and end to end UX / UI process.

2. Demonstrated experience creating high-quality, compelling design concepts and artefacts including prototypes, archetypes, journey maps etc.

3. Effective communication skills with the ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders, and clearly articulate design decisions through a well-conceived rationale.

4. Experience collaborating with others to translate findings from usability testing into actionable improvements to a user interface.

5. Knowledge of Accessibility requirements - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the Inclusive design process.

Desirable criteria

1. Experience working within an agile IT delivery team.

2. Tertiary Qualifications in a design related discipline (Human Factors, Communication / Graphic Design, Systems Design, Psychology, Computer Interaction, Web development etc.)
