VERB is looking for a Program Manager who will provide strategic guidance to internal and external teams, while overseeing the progress of various interconnected projects. They partner project management with business analysis skills and varied technology experience to be the big picture visionary who sees out integrated technical business solutions through to delivery.
What You Will DoManage the program lifecycle, from conception to launch, including defining project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocationAct as the program expert who has an intimate understanding of the entire solutionWork closely with project managers, cross functional teams, and internal and external stakeholders to execute project plans ensuring all milestones are met and deliverables are high qualityDefine and prioritize key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendorsDevelop and manage budget for projects and maintain accountability for delivering against established business objectivesCollaborate with all VERB internal departments including, Development, Marketing, UX and Creative, on key process efficiencies and remove roadblocks as necessaryMeet with stakeholders regularly, ensuring transparent communication regarding project issues and decisionsCraft requirement documents with technical specifications, functionalities and / or user storiesDevelop and deliver end-user technical documentation and trainingAnalyze, evaluate and overcome program risksAct as a client advocate and manage internal communications throughout the development cycleEnsure collaboration and strong communication among team members and stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Delivery teamRequirements5+ years of program or technical project management experiencePost-secondary education in project management, computer science, business, or equivalent experienceThe following certifications are considered an asset :PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)Business Analysis Certificate (ECBA or CPRE)ITIL V3 FoundationWorking knowledge of postman scripts, web sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, and familiarity with SwaggerExperience developing requirements, user cases and user storiesExperience implementing Agile project management methodologiesExperience working within a CMS (Wordpress, Drupal)Knowledge of project delivery processes (Discover, Definition, Design, Develop, Deploy)Familiarity with Atlassian Suite of products, i.e., Confluence and Jira, with experience managing projects within JiraExperience managing stakeholders, with skills in leadership, time management, and facilitationHighly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environmentBenefitsOur benefits are anything but basic, with vacation time available on day one (not to mention an extra bonus week during the holidays), an annual travel credit (for non-work related travel), and free office snacks and drinks to keep you energized when you're around.
