Project Officer, International Student Programs

• Your role

The Project Officer will have responsibility for the following, but not limited to :

• Delivery / collaboration of Global Opportunities (GO) and Global Engagement (GE) programs and strategy initiatives.
• Provide administrative duties to the GE unit.
• Implement, monitor, track, review, and report on the status of project deliverables in line with approved project plans and budgets. In addition, comply with and assist with data management.
• Undertake communications and marketing tasks for the GE unit, as well as assist with event management.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients both internal and external to the department, inclusive of government officials, staff of overseas institutions, overseas representatives and other stakeholders.
• Compliance with all Commonwealth and State legislation and departmental policies relating to the delivery of programs for effective and efficient administration of departmental services.
• Work collaboratively to contribute to achieving the unit's business outcomes.
• Mandatory requirements
• When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
