This involves tasks such as updates, testing, QA (quality assurance), and diagnosing root causes of problems through troubleshooting to ensure product functionality is optimized.Travel RequirementsUp to 10%.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides technical customer support through task assigned processes using updates, testing, and QA methods to ensure product functionality; escalates issues as required.Diagnose root causes of problems, troubleshoot issues and repairs within SLA (Service Level Agreement) timeframes – escalates issues as required.Daytime telephone support – resolves system issues effectively and efficiently to ensure functionality as soon as practicable.Connects to client site to verify and reproduce problems to diagnose root causes.Documents functionality clearly and concisely.Performs ad hoc projects as required.Required SkillsTertiary qualifications in Mining, Engineering, or IT-related field.Sound computer skills with knowledge of computing languages such as C, C++, SQL, and / or scripting languages, plus Linux / Unix systems.Desired SkillsKnowledge of mining operations.Diversity & Inclusion CommitmentAt Komatsu, we come from diverse backgrounds with unique perspectives, experiences, and contributions.
