Work within one of the most dynamic, fast paced, high performing, experienced and fun Estimating Teams doing Sales Estimating in our state of the art Robina office.

Reporting to the Sales Estimating Support Manager, your responsibilities will include : Produce sales estimates to reflect the customer’s requirements to incorporate Standard options, Nonstandard variations, Foundation and footing requirements, Inclusions to achieve required siting and Regulatory requirementsEnsure that all requirements described in the engineer’s report are incorporated into the Preliminary Contract and Contract documentsFollow company checklists to capture and process all information required to determine fixed site costsSales estimates are to be produced to support the following stages of the workflow process to reflect the customer’s requirements and to incorporate amendments required to obtain all relevant permits related to Preliminary Contract (including amendments), Customer Selections, Contract (including amendments) and Post contract variationsEnsure that sales estimates are modified accurately to suit requirements of the engineers, surveyors and building surveyorsPreparing and documenting specific estimates in accordance with the Metricon design and construction detailsCalculating quantities and maintaining inventories for standard options to complement our product range, using Metricon’s Estimating Systems softwareSetting prices based on supplier rates and margin schedules; andLiaising with a number of internal stakeholders including Sales, Designers and Purchasing teams.

The successful candidate will have : Minimum 2 years experience working with an Australian Residential builder as either a Sales or Production EstimatorWorking knowledge of the building and construction industryAn Associate Diploma in Building Construction or equivalent construction knowledge (preferred)Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and proven experience in estimating is a mustExcellent organisational skills and an eye for detailAn interest in continuous improvement and a willingness to provide feedback to management; andThe ability to thrive in a goal driven, dedicated team environment.
