ConsMin produces some of the world's highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. • Description

Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Maintenance, the successful applicant will be required :

• Conduct maintenance activities to the mining and support vehicle fleet, consisting predominantly of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.
• Conducting workshop maintenance and maintaining high housekeeping standards in work areas.
• Diagnosing and repairing machines / equipment in both a workshop and field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems when required.
• Skills and Experiences
• Requirements to be successful in this role are
• Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate
• Current HR License Essential
• Ability to understand and interpret OEM manuals and hydraulic / pneumatic
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Product knowledge of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment
• Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Air Conditioning Ticket advantageous
• National Police Clearance (dated within last 6 months)

Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months (or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
