About the Role
Nature of position : 12-month Maximum Term, Full Time
Location : Melbourne VIC
Reporting Line : General Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Execute key property deliverables, including;
- Work with key stakeholders to define strategic direction and manage the operation of the Group's Property function, including facilities management services, to deliver optimal utilisation and commercial outcomes.
- Manage Team performance / deliverables. Drive effective and efficient delivery of function operations in line with Company policies, procedures and authority delegations.
- Manage day to day operation and performance of the Group's Property, ensuring they adequately support operational activities, and ensure the physical protection, security and control of all assets.
- Drive supplier performance (capability, delivery, quality, price, payment terms) through contract and relationship management, and spend / performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and growth through best practice Policy and procedures, cost reduction and value-adds.
- Plan, manage, and execute property related projects commensurate with set budgets and ensuring timely delivery, e.g. site mobilisation and demobilisation activities, site re-positioning, etc
- Manage associated functions, including site front of house administration, travel and telephony functions.
About You
To be successful for this role, you have :
Minimum 5 years' experience in leading a Property function, with demonstrated project management and business analysis experiencewith capacity to identify improvement opportunities & lead performance-based change initiativesExperience and understanding in property and facilities management functionsProject management. Change agent that can earn and create buy in, deliver creative solutions, and proven track record of delivery issue free integration strategy on time and budget.Excellent management / organisational skillsPeople leader, stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsAgile, adaptive to a dynamic environment, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. A proven ability to make balanced judgments using imperfect information.Strong leadership. Positive, can-do attitude. Aptitude to positively influence others.Proactive nature, inquisitive mind, and continuous improvement disposition.Ability to work in a team with focus on providing excellent customer service.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
