About the opportunity :

We are currently looking for  two  experiencedProduction Operators  to join our  Townsville  site . In this role, you will perform in our production and slicing areas, which includes ensuring our production targets and compliance processes are met. With a core focus on the health & safety culture here at GoodmanFielder, this role will also require you to follow health and safety procedures whilst carrying out a variety of tasks in the production and slicing areas.

Opportunities currently exist for :

Shift one :

  • Sunday - 3.00am-3.00pm

Monday - 3.00am-3.00pm

Tuesday - 3.00am-3.00pm

Wednesday- 3.00am – 8 : 30am

Shift two :

  • Wednesday - 8.30am-2.00pm

    • Thursday - 3.00am-3.00pm

    Friday - 3.00am-3.00pm

    Saturday- 3.00am – 8 : 30am

    You will be responsible for :

  • Operation of machinery and equipment as per safe operating procedures
  • Executes start-up procedure and machine / equipment set ups, operational processes and cleaning processes correctly.
  • Ensure all Food Safety and Quality incidents are accurately reported and recorded within specified time frames.
  • Complete Quality Assurance and Food safety Induction and Competency quality assessment. Attend all relevant training programs.
  • Achieve AERR and Waste on target.
  • Active participationand attendance of weekly, monthly departmental meetings

  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Practiceand display Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Health and Safety standards
  • Quality awareness
  • Previous food industry experience or machine operation / process work is desirable
