• Key responsibilities will include
• Leadership of the Infrastructure Team consisting of 2-3 Engineers.
• Technical lead / consultant on ICT projects.
• Overseeing the deployment, management, troubleshooting and administration of key ICT Infrastructure.
• Daily workload management of the infrastructure team, to ensure achievement of both the service level expectations of clients and adherence to agreed standards, policy and practices.
• Technical escalation for the ICT Infrastructure Engineering Team.
• Demonstrated technical experience deploying, managing and maintaining an enterprise level ICT infrastructure environment.
• Support infrastructure, end user hardware & software for all customer.
• Ensure support requests are managed in accordance with agreed SLA.
• Provide Level 3 technical support as required.
• The person sought
• Will be a technical allrounder in all aspects of IT Infrastructure solutions and technologies.
• Solid engineering skills in Servers, Storage, Virtualisation, Cloud, Backup, Networking and security.
• Previous experience as a Technical team Leader and / or the capacity to mentor, support, and lead a small team is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in the use of infrastructure automation, with practical skills in scripting and coding would be beneficial but not essential.
• Any experience with O365 and MS Azure a bonus.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Able to coach and mentor junior staff.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to think outside the box.
• Friendly, engaging, team oriented personality.
