  • Duties
  • Perform horticultural trade tasks in the areas of gardening, arboriculture, landscape construction and turf maintenance.
  • Operate plant and equipment, including attachments, to maintain and develop turf areas.
  • Ensure the daily maintenance of plant and equipment including pre-start checklists.
  • Undertake boom and knapsack spraying as required.
  • Ensure all tasks undertaken are carried out in accordance with OH&S standards.
  • Ensure appropriate work records are kept and maintained.
  • Perform all other duties as directed.
  • Skills & Experience
  • Certificate of Horticulture or relevant experience relating to gardening, turf maintenance etc.
  • Current Victorian Driver's license.
  • Experience working within a team, as a team player.
  • Plant / machinery operations as required within the horticultural industry.
  • Relevant knowledge of OH&S systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrated customer service focus.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
