Glenmore State High School is seeking a Youth Worker to join their Student Support Hub on a full-time temporary basis for 6 months, with potential extensions up to 12 months.
The Youth Worker will support the existing Student Support Hub and Student Engagement Leaders (Year Level Coordinators). About The Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Collaborating with the school and community, liaising with students, staff, parents, guidance officers, and welfare agencies. Monitoring attendance to identify and intervene with students experiencing issues. Building relationships with families to encourage consistent attendance and support students' educational needs. Providing assistance to students facing difficulties at school or home that may impact their education. Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets, and databases.
