The opportunities are plenty for those who are ready to accept the challenge.Could that be you?Your OpportunityAs Principal Network Security Architect, you will oversee the Network Security architecture and design for TPG Telecom, support the planning and execution of Network Security programs, develop enterprise network security architectures in collaboration with TPG's Enterprise Architecture Practice.In this role you will focus on the development of Network Security solutions for Mobile, Fixed and IT Networks, and govern the solutions and designs provided by our vendors and partners.
You will foster close working relationships with the broader engineering and technology teams and other business stakeholders, vendors and industry forums.You'll Make Impact ByDeveloping comprehensive end-to-end Network Security Architectures to meet business and security requirementsFormulating and establishing strategic plans for the next 3–5 years, aligning with business objectives, technological advancements, and industry trendsCreating Solution Architecture Designs in consultation with cross-domain stakeholders and presenting to various audiences and forums for sign-off and approvalLeading and managing Network Security projects by defining scopes, budgets, and timelines, and collaborating with program / project managers and technical system owners to finalise scope, schedule, and support deliveryCarrying out planning activities to ensure the Network Security Domain meets capacity, performance, risk, and lifecycle objectivesDriving the development of security solutions for IT / Core applications and services that deviate from existing architecturesDeveloping and updating TPG's Enterprise Architecture Security Policies, Standards, and Guidelines, and contributing to their review as part of the Enterprise Architecture PracticeParticipating in the Architecture Review Board to evaluate business and technology solutions for compliance with Network Security architecture policies and standardsIdentifying and addressing deficiencies in TPG's Network Security, and contributing to security strategy and best practicesAssisting with regulatory and compliance discussions, reporting, notifications, submissions, and information requests as neededSeeking continuous improvements in work processes and suggesting innovative methods to exceed customer expectationsPromoting security awareness and advocating policy adherenceMaintaining strong relationships with stakeholdersWhat You'll BringOver 12 years of extensive experience in network security architecture and designOver 10 years of experience in the Telecommunications or ICT industry with preference to mobile and fixed networksBroad knowledge on 4G and 5G mobile core network technologies and relevant network services architecture solutionsExtensive knowledge and experience in networking and security technologies - including Firewalls, IDS / IPS, WAF, Proxies, AAA such as TACACS / Radius, Remote Access technologies (IPSEC / SSL), DDoS detection & mitigation, IP / MPLS routing, network infrastructure services such DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP, load balancing etcStrong and demonstratable experience in delivering full end to end security solutions (i.e Concept / Feasibility to Post Operational Acceptance / Support)Comprehensive experience and skills in identifying, researching, evaluating and recommending new and emerging security technologiesPossession of one or more security certifications is highly preferred - such as CCIE Security, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA, PCIDSS, ISO27001.
