About Us

As we grow, we’re seeking an experienced and energetic Assistant Front Office Manager to help lead our front office team and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing front desk operations, ensuring the highest standard of service, supporting the team, and helping to create memorable guest experiences from arrival to departure.

Your Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations

  • Lead by example in delivering warm, professional service.
  • Supervise check-in / check-out, reservations, and VIP guest arrivals.
  • Maintain a visible presence at reception and ensure team readiness.
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and care.

Mews PMS & Reservations Management

  • Oversee Mews system usage, booking accuracy, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Support team training in MEWS and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Monitor occupancy and assist in yield and revenue management.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, rosters, and performance reviews.
  • Provide mentoring and day-to-day guidance to front office staff.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and ensure strong shift communication.
  • Operational & Admin Support

  • Assist in daily reporting, guest feedback tracking, and SOP compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B teams.
  • Monitor supplies and uphold confidentiality and data security standards.
  • Crisis Management & Duty Shifts

  • Be available for after-hours support and act as Duty Manager when required.
  • Respond to emergencies in line with resort safety procedures.
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a supervisory front office or guest services role.
  • Strong leadership and guest engagement skills.
  • Proficiency with Mews or similar PMS.
  • A calm, confident approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating outstanding guest experiences.
  • Essential and Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid working rights in Australia (essential)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (preferred)
  • RSA or Approved Manager certification (essential)
  • National Police Clearance (essential)
