About the Opportunity Lighthouse Christian School islooking for a passionate and dedicated full-time Secondary Teacher, specialising in Senior Mathsto join our team inRockhampton, Queensland.

Position required for Term 3 commencement.

Reporting to the Head of Secondary, this role involves delivering high-quality education to secondary students, supporting their academic achievements, and nurturing their spiritual growth.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Teaching your subject areawith a focus on excellence in educationDeveloping lesson plans that integrate a Christian worldviewProviding academic support and mentoring to studentsAssessing and reporting on student progressCollaborating with colleagues to improve teaching practices and curriculum deliveryParticipating in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunitiesSupporting the school's mission and values within and outside the classroomEngaging with parents and the broader school community to enhance student outcomesAbout You To be considered for this role,you must hold current teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers. As the successful candidate,you will be a practicing Christian with a living and active faith, and you will embrace and share the Christian values and ethos, supporting the spiritual and community-focused mission of the school.
