About the role Leadership : The Manager for this role isGeoff Sutton, Director Microsoft Success APAC, based in Brisbane.

As an Azure Solutions Specialist you are the key support function within the sales organisation, working across the ANZ teams to utilize your skill set in articulating and driving business value with Microsoft Azure Solutions. You will collaborate with all internal departments and customers as required to ensure their technical and solution needs are met and exceeded where possible.

Lead Microsoft Azure conversations with organisational decision makers, to support Insight licensing and professional services opportunity developmentProvide general technical expertise support to various client discussions and internal initiativesUnderstand client's business objectives and technical needs to identify the scope of the project and deduce the solution and deliveryWork autonomously to manage multiple engagements, coordinate stakeholders and administrative duties, and additional duties as neededWork with sales teams on Microsoft Azure pricing and architectural negotiationsPromote unified tools and proposals across sales teams to ensure consistent messaging to Insight customersActively contribute to a healthy team culture and share your expertise and learnings with your peersBe AmbITious : This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow. We are looking for an Azure Solutions Specialist with the following capabilities : Azure services and solutions knowledge to be able to architect and identify suitable solutions for clientsDemonstrated experience guiding organisations with cloud migration and adoption activitiesCloud security experience to be able to understand and design secure cloud solutions and manage Azure identity and access managementKnowledge of Networking, Virtualization, Identity, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Data Platforms, and GovernanceAbility to define and present roadmaps and solutions that translate technology solutions into business value and ROIAbility to design a solution for scalability and performanceProven capability to work with a client to provide thought leadership, understand their needs, and deliver solutions that meet their requirementsProven ability to lead client engagements with senior stakeholders, and technical demonstrations around AzureSolid understanding of governance, change management, and adoption conceptsDeep and broadunderstanding of Microsoft Azure services, features, and pricing tiersDemonstrated presalessuccess and ability to influence client decision makersDemonstrated project delivery, autonomy, and time management skillsSubstantial experience in technical roles within a managed services environment (desired)Knowledge across most Microsoft Azure cloud offeringsRelevant Microsoft certifications and Microsoft programs knowledge (desired)Ability to effectively problem solve complex issues with minimal supervisionWhat you can expect We're legendary for taking care of you, your family and for helping you engage with your local community.
