Emergency respite careproviding compassionate care and supervision during challenging times.Supervised contact visitssupervising and supporting children in their visits with their family.Transporttransporting children and young people to complete daily activities and participate in community activities.Day respite careproviding a fun day out for children and young people.You will provide support to children and young people by :
Empowering young people to make positive and informed decisions.Assisting in domestic tasks, shopping, cleaning, meal prep.Implementing behaviour support plans.Helping to keep the young people connected to their community by accompanying them to activities and appointments such as afternoon sport and speech therapy etc.Administrating medication when required.Write detailed and accurate shift notes.Together, we can empower children and build brighter futures.
Essential requirementsA current Working With Children's Check (WWCC)A current National Police CheckA current Drivers license, and access to a clean, road worthy vehicle for transporting children and young people when required.Comprehensive car insurance on your intended work vehicle.Two refereesAbility and willingness to support last minute shift requests.A relevant industry qualification, or currently studying.
