About our Client :

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join a large, mission-driven organisation that delivers services across healthcare, aged care, mental health, early parenting and community programs. This is a key role within the Employee Relations team with a strong emphasis on supporting complex case management, industrial relations, and enterprise bargaining processes.

About the Role :

Reporting to the Group Manager, Employee Relations, this position will provide expert advice and support across a diverse portfolio. You will play a critical role in managing complex employment matters, leading IR / ER projects, and engaging with key stakeholders across the organisation.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced ER / IR professional looking to make a meaningful contribution in a collaborative, purpose-led environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide timely advice on a broad range of employee and industrial relations matters, including complex case management.
  • Support enterprise bargaining processes, including negotiations, analysis, and implementation.
  • Interpret and advise on enterprise agreements, awards and employment legislation.
  • Lead investigations and provide practical, risk-based advice on performance, conduct and ill / injured employee matters.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including union representatives and regulatory bodies.
  • Support change management processes and operational reviews.
  • Develop and deliver ER / IR training to managers and HR business partners.
  • Contribute to policy review and continuous improvement of ER / IR frameworks.

About You :

  • Proven experience in employment relations, industrial relations or employment law, ideally in a complex multi-site organisation.
  • Admitted to practice in an Australian jurisdiction
  • Deep knowledge of the Australian industrial relations system, public sector and private sector frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise bargaining and union engagement.
  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation including the Fair Work Act.
  • Ability to lead investigations and manage disputes with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, practical advice.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • High levels of personal integrity, professionalism, and alignment with organisational values.
