An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join a large, mission-driven organisation that delivers services across healthcare, aged care, mental health, early parenting and community programs. This is a key role within the Employee Relations team with a strong emphasis on supporting complex case management, industrial relations, and enterprise bargaining processes.
About the Role :
Reporting to the Group Manager, Employee Relations, this position will provide expert advice and support across a diverse portfolio. You will play a critical role in managing complex employment matters, leading IR / ER projects, and engaging with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide timely advice on a broad range of employee and industrial relations matters, including complex case management.
- Support enterprise bargaining processes, including negotiations, analysis, and implementation.
- Interpret and advise on enterprise agreements, awards and employment legislation.
- Lead investigations and provide practical, risk-based advice on performance, conduct and ill / injured employee matters.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including union representatives and regulatory bodies.
- Support change management processes and operational reviews.
- Develop and deliver ER / IR training to managers and HR business partners.
- Contribute to policy review and continuous improvement of ER / IR frameworks.
About You :
Proven experience in employment relations, industrial relations or employment law, ideally in a complex multi-site organisation.Admitted to practice in an Australian jurisdictionDeep knowledge of the Australian industrial relations system, public sector and private sector frameworks.Demonstrated experience in enterprise bargaining and union engagement.Sound understanding of relevant legislation including the Fair Work Act.Ability to lead investigations and manage disputes with sensitivity and professionalism.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, practical advice.Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.High levels of personal integrity, professionalism, and alignment with organisational values.
