Test Automation Lead – 12-Month Contract

Location : Melbourne – Geelong or Richmond (Onsite / Hybrid)

Eligibility : Australian Citizens only (Must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance)

Contract : 12 months

Rate : $600 / day + Super

We're looking for a Test Automation Lead to join a major Federal Government client in Melbourne. You'll lead a team of testers, drive automation using Playwright, and work closely with CI / CD pipelines in a GitLab environment.

Must Have Skills

Experience leading test teams in enterprise environmentsStrong automation skills (Playwright, BDD, Gherkin)CI / CD integration (Git, GitLab)Test planning, execution, and stakeholder reportingExcellent communication and leadership

Nice to Have :

Agile testing experienceCoaching and mentoring skillsKnowledge of accessibility standardsExperience in government or large-scale digital projects

Due to the nature of the work, Australian Citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
