Trade Assistants are required for Fire Sentry work supporting Defence projects at Garden Island in Sydney

Full-time hours + daily overtime and weekends

We seek multiple Trade Assistants with Industrial or Heavy Engineering experience to support Defence maintenance projects at Garden Island Sydney. _You MUST have a fire ticket to be eligible to do this._

Fire Sentry responsibilities

Perform watch duties, including continuous observation of hot work areas and responding to fire emergencies as needed.

Assist Boilermakers and Welders with various tasks such as site setup, trade support, organising work materials and permits.

Follow all safety policies, procedures and fire sentry checks.

Requirements

Construction Induction Card required.

Fire Fighting or Fire watch ticket essential.

Prior Fire Sentry experience in an industrial / heavy engineering work environment highly desirable.
