  • Inspire.ly Pty Limited is a registered NDIS provider which is providing a range of complex disability services to participants in the South East Queensland region.

    We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our team with a new participant!

    This role is

    • urgent
    • we will be onboarding and beginning training ASAP!
    • The role will require either significant experience in the NDIS or a Certificate 3 or above in disability or community services.

      Experience with autism, intellectual disability and / or seizure management highly desired.

      The key role of the Support Worker is to provide support to NDIS funded participants, promoting choice and control and assisting participants in achieving their personal goals in relation to independent living, skill development, and community access.

      This role will be responsible for :

    • attending your shifts at the location you are assigned, and undertaking work independently, or in a team, with NDIS participants at their homes and / or in the community;
    • providing high-quality support to participants with varying levels support needs, in accordance with individual support plans and PBSPs;
    • ensuring service agreement needs are being met;
    • comply with all lawful and reasonable directions from management;
    • develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including participant families, health professionals, and / or other agencies;
    • keep accurate and up-to-date records, including undertaking daily shift reports, medication recording, and incident reporting;
    • participate in team meetings and training as required;
    • comply with WHS requirements related to your role, including reporting and managing risks in the workplace;
    • complying with Inspire.ly policies and procedures;
    • ensure a high level of communication with team members and management in relation to service outcomes and participant needs;
    • other tasks and responsibilities as required by management that are within your level of skill and expertise.
    • Requirements
    • You must have and maintain an approved NDIS Clearance and Working With Children Check to undertake this role.

      You are also required to maintain current First Aid and CPR certification, and have a current drivers license.

    • Qualifications / Experience
    • Certificate III or above in community services, disability support or other related qualification at Inspire.ly's discretion.

      Previous practical experience in providing high quality support services to persons with complex needs.
