Geotechnical Engineer

As a key member of the Technical Services team, you'll be instrumental in supporting safe and efficient mining through smart, practical geotechnical solutions.

This is a high-performing team with strong experience across large-scale underground operations.

You'll work closely with both operational and technical leaders across the mine to identify risk, implement monitoring strategies, and drive site performance through quality geotech practices.Duties include but not limited to : Managing geotechnical risks in line with relevant QLD legislation (MQSHA & regs)Conducting field investigations, mapping, and sampling to assess conditionsDesigning and implementing geotechnical monitoring systemsAdvising on geotech aspects of mine design and project workCollaborating closely with mining, geology, and operational teamsProducing reports, presenting findings, and recommending practical solutions
