Position Overview :

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team as a locum in the month of January. As a General Practitioner at Maroubra Family Doctors, you will play a vital role in providing primary healthcare services to our patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, as well as managing chronic diseases and promoting preventive care.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct thorough patient consultations and physical examinationsDiagnose and treat acute and chronic illnessesPrescribe medications and other treatments as neededOrder and interpret diagnostic testsProvide counseling and education to patients on health maintenance and disease preventionRefer patients to specialists when necessaryMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical recordsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patientsStay current with medical advancements and best practices through continued education and training

Qualifications and Requirements :

Medical degree from an accredited institutionCurrent registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Prior experience as a General PractitionerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work well in a team environmentCommitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered careWillingness to participate in ongoing education and training programs
