  • About the role
  • The Medical Liaison Representative (internally known as Allied Health Coordinator) will develop strong partnership between Attune and third parties who are directly or indirectly working to provide support and assistance to those in need of hearing health care which includes but not limited to ENTs, GP, Geriatricians, Aged care providers, pharmacy groups.This role will support our clinics and stakeholders in Sydney.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Attune by promoting our quality of services and qualification of our professional team, providing scientific and technological updates, demonstrating clinical competencies to build a strong brand presence resulting in sustainable and continues customer referrals to our clinics. Improving further visibility, awareness, and customer volume to our clinics through maintaining regular hearing services at other allied healthcare services such as pharmacies and aged care
  • Brand Promotion : Provide information and necessary tools to potential partners so that they can recognize the added value that Attune provides to their customers and referring them to Attune for all their hearing related requirements.
  • Hearing Research Updates : Promotion of audiological research and innovation in the medical field, through clinic-based meetings and involvement through conferences etc. Scientific materials from CRS will be used for promotion.
  • Referral volume : Plan and implement installation, monitoring and management of Attune's IPAD based screening tool-OtoGP to increase traffic in the assigned Attune stores, mostly through the medical / Pharmacy channel and other related pathways. Ongoing monitoring to ensure that the volume of referral is maintained at levels agreed with Store Manager / Area Manager.
  • New Opportunities : Explore new commercial ways that improve the effectiveness of the referral sources both from existing medical fraternity and from new referral sources including new GPs / Pharmacies and other referral sources such as Aged Care / Geriatricians etc. Explore opportunity to provide onsite hearing checks at medical centres / pharmacies and potential to upgrading to a SIS.
  • Partnership Management : Regular follow up activities with partners to review referrals received and work with partners to further assist and develop the partnership. Monitor partnership for active and inactive status. If inactive (indicated by no referrals in a 3-month period) then work on reactivating the partnership or replace inactive partner with a new one
  • Support Attune Store : Assist Stores with building up 3rd party relationships outside of medical areas to further develop the client base for clinics through businesses such as aged care. Support Stores with their current offsite activities and explore further opportunities to assist them with developing customer traffic and clinic revenue by organising regular offsite services.
  • Budget Management : Manage the assigned budget, controlling deviations and maximizing the investment, as well as keeping a strict control of the external stake holders and the referred customers in our centres.

  • Have excellent relationship management skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage and build on external and internal relationships.
  • Highly motivated to work in autonomous and team environment.
  • Result oriented and has strong sales and commercial acumen.
  • Experience in building up medical relationships. (preferred)
  • Customer service management experience in hearing health is an advantage but not necessary.
  • Management of teams in real and virtual environment will be an asset.
  • Organise meeting, presenting workshops and information sessions in small groups.
