Technician - Arg Workforce

Our client, a leading car wash operator based in East Brisbane Queensland, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Fitter to maintain and repair equipment across multiple sites.

This hands-on role involves preventative maintenance, fault-finding, and ensuring the reliable operation of car wash systems, while working closely with the team to minimise downtime and boost performance.Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in car wash machinery Perform equipment inspections and uphold WHS and operational standards Maintain accurate maintenance records and schedules Act as a primary contact for assigned service jobs and urgent repairs Work with management and site teams to identify improvement opportunities Apply structured problem-solving to identify root causes and implement solutions Skills & Experience Required At least 1 year full time working experience as a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or relevant experience in industrial / plant maintenance Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems Proven commitment to safety and previous involvement in safety programs Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Clear communicator and team collaborator Restricted Electrical License preferred but not essential Previous experience in automotive, plant, or facilities maintenance is highly regarded These are Fulltime Positions.
