The RoleAs a Site Supervisor with Pacific Energy you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a worksite to ensure a high level of performance and compliance with health and safety guidelines. It is important to note that this role will be office based and only require infrequent visits to site as and when required.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinating labour resources, procurement, and delivery of materials, plant, and equipmentCoordinating labour activity on worksite and managing overall site performance of building and construction process, including liaising with sub-contractors and suppliersReviewing building practices to ensure compliance with forecast budgets, project management procedures and health and safety guidelinesImplementing and updating documentation as required, such as a site diary and incident reportsMonitor resources, schedules and activities to effectively manage the delivery of a projectEvaluating hazards, controlling risks and undertaking regular inspections of systems and equipmentArranging maintenance of machinery, tools, equipment and vehicles as requiredMaintaining accurate recordsFacilitating and leading regular meetings, such as Daily Pre-Start and Toolbox meetingsFoster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty and teamwork.About YouHighly developed people management skills with an ability to communicate at all levelsExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsExcellent communication and time management skills, conflict resolution skills and confidencedealing with a wide range of people, from tradespeople to customers / stakeholders andsupervisorsMust have strong project supervision skills in addition to knowledge of relevant legislation,regulations and protocols with regard to construction, building and health and safetyPrevious experience and relevant qualifications in the field of which they leadUnderstanding of ISO standards and HSE requirementsAdditional benefits includeFlexible working optionsSalary continuance insuranceRetention bonus schemeEmployee Assistance Program (EAP), accessible to all employees and their familiesEmployee referral programWe are an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Pacific Energy, we celebrate the richness and depth that diversity brings.
