Government & Defence provides specialised logistics expertise, including relocation services. We work with clients at all levels of government to deliver an extremely diverse range of logistics solutions - from the distribution of healthcare products, managing the relocation of their employees, delivering fleets of government vehicles, through to helicopter rescue services.

Regional Manager, Relocations - Perth

The Role

Toll Group is partnered with Defence Force Australia where we are responsible for the delivery of Removal Services (RS) and ensuring high level relationships with key stakeholders e.g., Department of Defence (DoD), Defence Housing Australia (DHA), Defence Families Australia (DFA) and the Defence Member and Family Support Branch.

As the Regional Manager, Relocations you will be responsible for leading a small team across the Perth and Adelaide region. The role is based in Perth with intermittent travel required to South Australia.

As the Regional Manager, you will :

  • Be responsible for all human, physical, and financial resources associated with providing Removal Services including the day-to-day performance and management of Providers.- Work closely with other senior positions to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality services to Defence, Defence Members and other clients and transferees.-
  • Have a working knowledge of the contractual documentation relating to RS Providers including Deed of Agreement, Statement of Requirements (SOR) and Minimum Standards- Manage and develop of a team of Transitions Consultants.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need :

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships and influence.- Expertise as a leader dealing with people management and client relationship management.- Ability to deal with sensitive information and work autonomously.- Experience in the assessment and resolution of contractual disputes.- Industry experience across Transport / Logistics advantageous- Car License mandatory
