Salesperson (Flooring)

Western Distributors is seeking to employ full-time salespeople to work in our flooring showroom (floating floors, engineered floors, and rugs).

Ability to work Saturdays is essential from 8am to 1pm (as part of a 5-day week).

Duties & responsibilities

The person we are seeking to employ will be required to :

• Perform a sales role / product selection for flooring products
• Interact with customers;
• Process sales
• Coordinate delivery and installation of flooring products; and
• perform general cleaning duties.

Skills & experience

The skills and experience you need to perform this role include :

• Sales experience in the flooring industry (would be beneficial).
• Ability to read plans and calculate square metres for installation of flooring products;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Good literacy skills;
• Good computer skills;
• Good numeracy skills; and
• A strong work ethic.
• A passion for colour and colour matching
