• The opportunity

This crucial senior leader will work closely with the entire Executive and General Management team to determine the fund's approach to information security risk, develop policies and practices to manage this risk and provide operational support services to minimise the risk.

The GM-IS will be analytical, a conceptual thinker resulting in the provision of strong information security leadership across the whole business. A highly visible operator in the business with significant experience partnering with internal business stakeholders and supporting the delivery of secure technology to the business.

We exist for our members; our members are at the forefront of everything we do and for that reason, it's critical we ensure information security risk, and regulatory requirements are managed in accordance with the requirements for regulated entities. A knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as APRA CPS 234, 230 will be highly regarded.

With a collaborative and agile style, this purposeful and impactful leader will lead the powerhouse team, that is the Information Security team.

Ideally, you'll have a broad technology background, having knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ITIL, have worked in a senior leadership capacity and have the ability to lead, transform and inspire change across teams and businesses.
