REGISTERED NURSE IN CHARGE - RESIDENTIAL AGED CARE

A bright, spacious and modern residential aged care home, Gregory Lodge in the heart of Flemington provides an opportunity for an active life in a secure and caring environment. Delivering high quality care to those with higher care needs, our long-standing, friendly and experienced team of care professionals will ensure that health and wellbeing needs are our main focus. As an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN - Grade 5) you will play a vital role in residential aged care service management, planning and delivery of services. Supported by the Facility Manager, you will provide an evidence-based nursing care for residents in accordance with the developed care plan.

What you bring :

  • Advanced clinical skills and a commitment to high quality care and services.
  • Significant experience as a Registered Nurse - Grade 5.
  • Previous experience working in an “In charge” capacity.
  • Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Able to work all shifts including night shifts.
  • Commitment to the philosophy of a person-centred approach to providing care and services.
  • Working knowledge of Accreditation Standards, Aged Care funding and Aged Care legislation.
  • High level leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • You will either already hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one prior to appointment.
