Play a key part in keeping our railways safe and operational
Our client is a global leader in the manufacture and maintenance of systems for rail and commercial vehicles with local offices and facilities all over Australia. Their facility at Welshpool, WA focuses on the manufacture, overhaul, and repair of various railway equipment.
Due to a long term project, we are looking to recruit a number of Mechanical Fitters and Trades Assistants to disassemble, assemble / build, and test various Rolling Stock (train) brake componentry and equipment with a mechanical and pneumatic focus.
These are all permanent Monday to Friday roles based at our client facility with no off-site visits required. There are also opportunities for overtime on both weekdays and weekends.
The Trades Assistant role will focus on stripping and cleaning of equipment and the Mechanical Fitter role will focus on assembly, testing and commissioning. There are career progression opportunities for both roles.
In addition to these roles, we also have a number of other roles focused on the building and maintenance of various Rolling Stock equipment - Sheet Metal Fabricators, Refrigeration Technicians, Brazing Specialists etc.
