An exciting casual opportunity is available for highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Orderlies to join our team. This role will provide exceptional non-clinical patient care, supporting the nursing team and contributing to an industry-leading environment.

• Key functions include
• Provide exceptional customer / patient service by safely transporting / lifting patients, collecting and delivering specimens, equipment and consumables and by restocking supplies and consumables.
• Prioritise patient safety by ensuring patient transportation is safe and in good working order, and by being an active member of the emergency response team.
• Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture
• Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope's policies and processes
• Supports Healthscope's safety and quality improvement and compliance with the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards.
• About You

You will be professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centric focus with highly developed customer service skills and the ability to prioritise and organise work, with mínimal supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will hold :

• Experience in a hospital environment
• Excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills
• High-level attention to detail
• Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work under pressure
• Certificate III in Health Support Services or equivalent desired
