Job Description

The Opportunity :

We’re seeking experienced General Practitioners for locum opportunities across the Western NSW Local Health District .

Roles vary from standard GP consults to emergency on-call hospital coverage depending on the site, with placements available in both remote and larger regional towns.

Whether you’re a rural generalist or simply looking for a high-reward, short-term placement, this is an opportunity to make a difference while being well-compensated.

Clinical Environment :

  • Broad-scope generalist medicine across clinic, inpatient and emergency care
  • Options to take on ED / on-call shifts for increased earnings
  • Strong nursing, allied health, and remote retrieval support
  • Ideal for independent GPs comfortable in regional practice

    • Eligibility Criteria :

  • AHPRA Specialist Registration
  • Prior rural GP or ED experience highly regarded
  • NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
